wawasan [vision]
vision(s) for this page, this practice, this organization is to one day have a safe physical space where us marginalized/racialized women can gather safely & freely – to heal, to learn, to play, to laugh, to rest, to be all of ourselves.
i see it…
an older building where our peoples were displaced from… our pondoks, our kampungs in Pasir Panjang, Geylang…
with lush greenery & birdsong,
a pool for us to overcome our fears & harness the power of our seafaring ancestors.
we wash our feet and then we begin…
we co-create, support each other, speak truths and thrive…
and LOTS of bubble blowing.

more about me:
abolitionist, pro-black/indigenous rights, transracial adoption survivor (semi-reunited), chronically ill, liberatory health & wellness practitioner indigenous to tanah Melayu, Singapura (Temasek).
i have been peer supporting world relatives in recovery, (re)claiming their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual/spirited health for over a decade now.
educated with an MSc in Psychology and divested from the licensing path to protect myself and our community from further complicity, indoctrination and becoming an agent of empire.
reparenting self and my inner children through decolonizing and reindigenizing has resituated me and my soul’s purpose on Mother Earth. i am here to serve communities of the global majority especially the systematically marginalized, racialized and oppressed.
boundaried listener & communicator, highly responsible global citizen, trauma & culture-informed and committed to collective well-being and liberation. I love empowering through blowing bubbles, design, fashion, laughter, listening to the wind, music and co-creating apartheid-free spaces.
i am fluent in English and grief… conversational in Melayu (O’levels) and Mandarin (HSK 3). I am currently enjoying Melayu lessons (in their many forms) as part of my reindigenizing journey.
here are my areas of advocacy and lived experience…
(from top left, clockwise, alphabetically) – these are areas i have lived through, continue to live with, trained in, advocate for, passionate in and that empower me to rebirth relove… to be all of me.
if you need/want support or to explore these areas, i am here to listen and co-create with you.
fokus & amalan harian
[my focus & daily practice]
with community – including all beings such as birds, flowers, trees…
resituate self on Mother Earth,
shed secrets, grieve and mourn,
(re)claim physical, mental, emotional and spiritual/spirited health,
(re)birth and (re)love self so I can BE all of me & live in this polycrisis,
have shame-free fun and dance towards,
empowerment to co-liberate self and our peoples.
amalan yang berbeza
[a different practice]
the rebirth relove org/practice focuses on liberatory health & wellness through decolonizing and reindigenizing.
i also believe we have our own innate ancient wisdoms through our lineages, through our own individual and collective journeys and do not need advice, especially unsolicited advice. i practice “no crosstalk”. (crosstalk can include giving unsolicited feedback, advice, interrogating, debating, criticizing, controlling or dominating. it may also include minimizing another person’s feelings, or experiences, verbal sounds and noises.)
i listen without comment as many of us have had the world gaslight us through our pain. i practice allowing others the privilege of their own wisdoms. crosstalk is also a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual boundary violation. please call me in if you feel that crosstalk is occuring and i shall do the same.
my role is to be with you, as a witness, a cheerleader to your power/empowerment… to see you and smile with you in your/our light. I can also share (if wanted), what has helped me (combining spirited/intuitive, indigenous wisdom/somatic ways with “modern” practices and practical solutions), my own decolonizing & reindigenizing journey and daily practices.
thank you for being here. thank you for wanting to rebirth and relove yourself so that we can collectively have a more just and loving world.
